Heather Carlton served in international missions for years, then she learned to love in new ways as she became a stay at home mom. After a broken marriage and an up-ended career, she is learning all over what it means to let God rewrite her story.
=====
Heather graduated from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity and a specialization in Intercultural Studies. She went on to serve as a missionary to Burkina Faso, West Africa, and then in South Korea. Stateside, Heather spent eight years at a mission organization called OneHope, where she worked on projects to engage children and teenagers around the world with Scripture. She served at a local church as the Missions Minister, but resigned when her marriage fell apart. She struggled with wondering if God could ever use her again. Did He take away His calling? To hear Heather's story is to encounter God's grace and healing in a beautiful, personal way.
Heather is currently figuring life out as single mom of four. Every day is a challenge, but each day brings new opportunity to live in His freedom.
