Pastor Stephanie Johnson-Yancy
Since 1993, Pastor Yancy has had extensive experience in counseling youth and adults alike, which includes mentoring and tutoring in the Save America’s Youth program, serving as a suicide prevention counselor, and working for the Campus Crusade in counseling inner city students, gangs, and teen parents. She has also conducted comprehensive workshops, conferences, and seminars on marriage, singles, abstinence, and divorce recovery. She returned to school for a M. Div., M.B.A., and biblical counseling credentials.
Previous, Pastor Yancy served as a minister at Faithful Central Bible Church of Inglewood, CA., The Grace Place Church of Inglewood, CA, and Legacy Church of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Also, served as a Chaplain at Union Rescue Mission in Los Angeles, CA and Light House Mission in New Mexico.
Pastor Yancy is currently co-pastor of God’s Word Bible Church in Sacramento, CA. Pastor Yancy is a preacher/teacher and the author of the book “101 Ways for Wives to Satisfy their Husbands.” She is married and serves alongside Senior Pastor Mark Yancy a teacher/preacher and the author of the book: “The Operations of the Soul” and “Saving of the Soul by the Word.”
